Craniosacral Therapy

Craniosacral Therapy (CST) is a gentle hands-on approach that releases tensions deep in the body to relieve pain and dysfunction and improve whole-body health and performance.  CST is increasingly used as a preventative health measure for its ability to bolster resistance to disease, and is effective for a wide range of medical problems including : migraines and headaches, chronic neck and back pain, motor coordination impairments, stress and tension, traumatic brain and spinal cord injuries, chronic fatigue, scoliosis, central nervous system disorders, emotional difficulties, TMJ, learning disabilities, PTSD, and orthopedic problems.

Myofascial Release

Myofascial Release is a soft tissue therapy for treatment of skeletal muscle immobility and pain. Fascia is the top layer of muscle which expands to assist in compensation in the event of an injury.  After the injury is resolved, Fascia can continue to hold the body in an un-natural position causing pain and discomfort. Myofascial release is known to assist in recovery from a number of physical and emotional problems and particularly effective for treatment of Fibromyalgia.

Swedish Massage

Basic techniques such as friction, stroking, fulling, petrissage and joint movement are used to enhance circulation, increase range of motion and aide in lymph movement as well as general relaxation.

Cupping Therapy

By creating suction and vacuum pressure, cupping is used to soften tight muscles and tone attachments, loosen adhesions and lift connective tissue, bring hydration and blood flow to the body, move inflammation to the skin surface for release, and drain excess fluids and toxins by opening lymphatic pathways.

Shiatsu

Japanese based treatment involving finger and thumb pressure on various points of the body regulates  autonomic nervous system and the circulatory, lymph and hormonal systems. Poor posture, joint problems, sprains, arthritis, sciatica, neck and back pain, sinusitis and bronchitis among many other conditions are treatable through Shiatsu.

Myokinetic Nerve Release Therapy

Soft tissue release therapy geared toward restoring optimal nerve function through soft tissue release combined with active and passive movement.
